Scott David Dean, 29, Whiting, died Sunday, April 29, 2012, as the result of an automobile accident.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Thomas Petersen officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Grand Rapids.
Visitation will be at Boston Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the service.

Mr. Dean was born Feb. 7, 1983, in Stevens Point, a son of William and Cheryl (Rogers) Dean. He grew up in Stevens Point, attended St. Paul Lutheran Grade School and graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High School in 2001.
Shortly after high school, he became employed with Furo Racecraft as a fabricator and welder. He also worked for Olsen Crop Service and American Fence for a short time. In 2010, he became employed with Steel King Manufacturing as a set-up worker and a welder; while working for Furo Racecraft in his spare time.
Survivors include his parents; two brothers, Bryan and Roger, both of Stevens Point; one niece, Caedyn, Stevens Point; and aunt, uncles and cousins.
