Richard C. “Dick” Zagrzebski, 73, Arbor Vitae, formerly of Stevens Point, died Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating.
Visitation was scheduled to be held at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the Mass.
Memorials in his name will be established at a later date.

Mr. Zagrzebski was born May 5, 1938, in Whiting, a son of the late Edwin and Alice (Turzinski) Zagrzebski. He graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1957.
He served in the Army National Guard and was called up to active duty during the Berlin Crisis on Oct. 15, 1961. He remained on active duty until Aug. 10, 1962, where he then returned to serve in the Army National Guard for 22 years.
He was married to Virginia Zalewski on Jan. 3, 1959, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point.
He worked for Consolidated Papers-Wisconsin River Division in maintenance and as a superintendent, retiring in 1996.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Father Dodge 7827 in Woodruff, American Legion Post 0089, Little Arbor Vitae Lake Association and P.F.M.A.; and a former Howard Young Hospital volunteer and former Scoutmaster with Troop 290.
Survivors include his wife; seven sons, Rick (Briana), Arroyo Grande, Calif., Gary (Jean), Mosinee, Tom (Charlene), Rudolph, Mike (Peggy), Grand Junction, Colo., Mark (Melissa), Marcellus, Mich., and Bob (Tanya) and Troy (Crisi), both of Stevens Point; one daughter, Nanci Spires, Bonita Springs, Fla.; four brothers, Edwin Jr. (Jeanette), Schofield, Ralph (Rita), Wausau, David (Barbara), Stevens Point, and Theodore (Janice), Arizona; three sisters, Marilyn (William) Heilman, Washington, Margaret (Casimir) Bernas, Stevens Point, and Linda Kight, Minnesota; 11 grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Conrad.
