Michelle Katherine Berard, 48, a Stevens Point native, died Friday, April 13, 2012, in hospice care in Durango, Colo.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date at the Berard summer home in northern Wisconsin.

Ms. Berard was born Dec. 23, 1963, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Robert L. and Mary P. Berard. She attended St. Stephen Catholic Church Elementary School and was a graduate of Stevens Point Area Senior High School.
She moved to Colorado shortly after graduation and obtained certification in massage therapy and as a life coach. She was employed at the Durango Mountain Resort for several years.
In 1998, she established and operated her own therapy and life coach consulting business, Mountain Sage, located in Durango, Colo.
Survivors include three brothers, Mick (Sue) Berard, Lake Tomahawk, Bob (Mary) Berard, Stevens Point, and Bill (Kathy) Berard, Edina, Minn.; five sisters, MiMi Berard, Wausau, Patti (Jim) Anderson, Stevens Point, Peggy (Tim ) Helz, Nashotah, Sue Ann Berard, West Palm Beach, Fla., and Jeannette Goudaillier, Campbell, Calif., 11 nieces and nephews; and 10 great-nieces and nephews.
