Marjorie “Marge” Belden, 94, formerly of Chippewa Falls, mother of a Stevens Point woman, died Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Our House Memory Care in Eau Claire.
A private service will be held, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.
Memorials in her name should be given to Mayo Clinic Health System Home Health & Hospice.

Mrs. Belden was born April 26, 1917, in LeSueur, Minn., a daughter of the late Fred and Eunice (Warner) Bosacker.
She was married to Charles “Chuck” Belden on Jan. 13, 1942, in Canton, Mo. He preceded her in death.
She had a long career in the hotel business, beginning with the Hotel Faribault in Faribault, Minn.; followed by the St. James Hotel in Red Wing, Minn., and the Pere Marquette in Peoria, Ill.
After World War II, she and her husband returned to Red Wing and she returned to the St. James. In 1961, they moved to Menomonie, where they owned and operated the Marion Hotel until 1981. They then moved to Chippewa Falls, where they were resident managers of the Northern Apartments until 1995.
Survivors include two sons, Mike (Linda), Menomonie, and Tom (Jackie Guthrie), Casa Grande, Ariz.; two daughters, Julie (Mark) Wood, Stevens Point, and Jeanne (Guy) Brown, Eau Claire; two sisters, Inez Fluke and Hazel Neumann; one brother, Fred “Fritz” Bosacker; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Jim; four sisters, Thelma Bosacker, Marion Sutter, Daphne Olson and Olive Schuller; and one brother, Kenneth Bosacker.
