Margot Gisela Borchardt, 88, Stevens Point, died Sunday, April 22, 2012, at the Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point, while under the care of Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point, with Pastoral Minister Dwaine Habrat of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the funeral chapel from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the services.

Mrs. Borchardt was born Nov. 23, 1923, in Potsdam, Germany, a daughter of the late Edmund and Julianna Lindner.
She was married to Raymond “Sonny” Borchardt, a U.S. soldier she met during World War II, on Oct. 11, 1947. He preceded her in death.
She was assistant manager for several years at Fairway/Ben Franklin and retired from Spurgeon’s department store.
Survivors include four daughters, Nancy (Michael) White, Bonnie Clarke and Debbie (Clark) Hainzlsperger, all of Stevens Point, and Shirley (David) Gerzmehle, Plover; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one stepbrother, two stepsisters and one son-in-law, Bill Clarke.
