Judy “Jude” Cleary, 66, Almond, died Friday, April 20, 2012.
A celebration of her life will be held at noon Saturday, May 5, at Two Lakes Supper Club in Almond.
Memorials should be sent to the Make a Wish Foundation.
Mrs. Cleary was born April 30, 1945, in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late George and Anna Ek. She attended St. Albert’s Elementary School, Dominican High School and Mount Mary College in Milwaukee.
She was married to Mike Cleary on Oct. 29, 1966.
She was an executive secretary at American Motors in Milwaukee. She ran a dress shop with her friend, Kris Schmitt, in Fort Myers, Fla., and then in Coloma. She was a restaurant hostess and a cashier at a large chain grocery store on Fort Myers Beach, Fla. She was a camp cook in hunting camp in Colorado where her husband was employed as a guide.
They were in the hospitality business on three occasions. They owned the Bulldog Inn in Coloma, and then went to work at Two Lakes Supper Club in Almond.
Survivors include her husband; two sisters, Mary (Steve) Flanderra and Sandy (Roger) Hahm; and nieces and nephews.
