Ernest E. Ksionsk, 89, died Friday, April 13, 2012, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, where he had resided since 1986.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz officiating.
Burial with full military rites will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the Mass.

Mr. Ksionsk was born on June 27, l922, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Frank and Susan (Daczyk) Ksionsk. He graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School.
He entered the U.S. Navy on Sept. 9, l942, in Milwaukee. He served as a pharmacist mate 2/c. He earned the American Theatre Ribbon, the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre Ribbon, Victory Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged on Jan. 27, 1946, in Great Lakes, Ill.
Upon returning to Stevens Point, he worked as a carpet installer for Home Furnishing Co. He retired in 1986 and moved to the Veterans Home.
He was a life member of American Legion Post 6.
Survivors include three sisters, Jean Firkus and Antoinette (Greg) Olszewski, both of Stevens Point, and Mary Ann (Richard) Karch, Milwaukee; one brother, Frank, Milwaukee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers.
