Edna G. Bach, 92, Wisconsin Rapids, a Junction City native, died Monday, April 23, 2012, at Harmony Living Center in Wisconsin Rapids.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. William Menzel officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park in Wisconsin Rapids.
Visitation will be at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the services.
Memorials may be designated to the Edna G. Bach Nursing Scholarship Fund at the local Incourage Community Foundation or the Capuchins (O.F.M.).

Mrs. Bach was born April 2, 1920, in Junction City, a daughter of the late Fred and Aagot (Berg) Fredrickson. She was in the last class (1937) to graduate from Emerson High School in Stevens Point. She graduated from the St. Joseph School of Nursing in Marshfield in 1941.
She was married to Vernon R. Bach on May 13, 1942, in Minneapolis, Minn. He died in 2003.
She worked as a nurse at Marshfield Clinic, St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point and Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, and as a nurse consultant for the State Board of Health Division of Hospital and Related Services until her retirement in 1982. During her years in nursing, she was actively involved with the Wisconsin Nurses Association.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry (Julie), Wisconsin Rapids, and Jim (Peggy), Stevens Point; one daughter, Jane (Abdul) Qastin, Appleton; one brother, Herbert Fredrickson, New Berlin; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Julie; two brothers, Allan and Raymond; two sisters, Hazel and infant sister Gladys June.
