Edmund Anthony Stroik, 92, Shawano, formerly of Plover, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, in Shawano.
Private family services were held.

Mr. Stroik was born Aug. 9, 1919, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Charles and Johanna (Witkowski) Stroik.
He was married to Evelyn Harinek on Oct. 10, 1953, in Plover. She died on Feb. 24, 1979.
He worked in the maintenance department at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point until retirement.
He was a member of the St. Martin Catholic Church in Cecil.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Stroik, Shawano; and nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Theresa; three sisters, Ann Coffman, Irene Miller and Marion Zygowicz; and two brothers, Joe and Raymond Stroik.
