Dorothy Jeane Francis, 83, formerly of 2125 Dixon St., Stevens Point, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012, in Wausau.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shuda Funeral Home in Stevens Point. Burial will be in the Plainfield Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Saturday until the service.

Mrs. Francis was born Dec. 2, 1928, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Harry and Bernadette (Stenseth) Brown. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1946.
She worked at Consolidated Paper Mill from 1946 to 1953. She then worked for the Department of Public Health. Following that she returned to Consolidated where she worked as an administrative assistant in the sales department until her retirement in 1991. She also worked at the First Baptist Church and taught Sunday school.
She was active as a volunteer at the Lincoln Center Holly Shoppe and Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital, as well as working with the Senior Olympics.
She was married to Lawrence Earl “Bubsie” Francis in September 1951. He died in 1969.
She was married to Edwin Breunig in 1984. He also preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Moose Club.
Survivors include one daughter, Debbie (Dan) Raumakita, Wausau; one son, Fredric (Kathy), Colorado Springs, Colo.; one brother, Clifford (Dorothy) Brown, Cuba City; one sister, Ruth (Don) Losey, Washington; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Wayne and Leland Brown; and one sister, Karen.
