Alice M. Peplinski, 93, Stevens Point, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Saturday at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz officiating.
Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Saturday.
A memorial will be established in her name for the Humane Society of Portage County.

Mrs. Peplinski was born March 16, 1919, in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late John and Stella (Springer) Goetz. As a child her family moved to the Stevens Point area and she graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1937.
She was married to Clifton Peplinski on May 28, 1938, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point. He preceded her in death.
She worked at Weber Lifelike Fly Company, Marathon Bait Company and The Smart Shop Clothing Store through the years.
She was a longtime member of the St. Peter Rosary Society.
Survivors include one son, David (Judith), Custer; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Frame; two brothers; and one sister.
