William “Bill” Selck, 61, Stevens Point, died Sunday, March 11, 2012, following a brief battle with pancreatic cancer, while under the care of Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 26, at Iverson Park in Stevens Point.
Donations in his name should be given to Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services or Team Vogel vs. Cancer, an organization supporting cancer research.

Mr. Selck was born Nov. 24, 1950, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Rolland and Alberta (Hilt) Selck. He graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1969.
He worked in construction for a few years, which brought him to Scottsbluff, Neb.
He was married to Peggy Engleman on Aug. 14, 1976, in Stevens Point.
The couple settled in Stevens Point. He worked at Americold Logistics in Plover for 30 years.
He was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Stevens Point.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Kate (Ryan) Skappel, Inver Grove Heights, Minn., and Kassie Selck, Stevens Point; one Drew, Stevens Point; one sister, Diane (Hank) Zblewski; and three grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Bobbi Spangler.
