Virginia E. Noble, 90, Plover, died Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Point Manor, while under the care of Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Point Manor Chapel, with the Rev. George Thayilkuzhithottu officiating. Burial will be in the St. Bronislava Catholic Church Cemetery in Plover.

Mrs. Noble was born March 24, 1921, in Hinton, W. Va., a daughter of the late Carl and Hallie (Harvey) Mooney. She graduated from Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, Va.
She was employed as a secretary at Purdue University.
She was married to Joseph Noble on June 1, 1946, in Bluefield, W. Va. He died in 1987.
The couple settled in Iowa City, Iowa, for a few years before moving to Rockford, Ill. After his death in 1987, she moved to Plover in 1988.
She was a secretary for W.A Whitney in Rockford, Ill.
Survivors include one son, Casey (Kerry), Loveland, Colo.; four daughters, Colleen (Jodie) Newell, Rockford, Ill., Shannon (Joseph) Girardi, Chicago, Ill., Kelly (Don) Aanrud, Amherst Junction, and Cathy (Chuck Post) Wievel, Stevens Point; one brother: Bill (Sylvia) Mooney, Hermitage, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Helen.
