Veronica V. Kubowski, 83, 123 S. County Road O, Stevens Point, died Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point, with Deacon Art Schaller officiating.
Burial will be at a later date in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Thursday until the service.
Memorials in her name will be established at a later date.

Mrs. Kubowski was born Jan. 24, 1929, in the town of Stockton, a daughter of the late Alois and Mary (Gburek) Pezewski. She attended local schools.
She was married to Leonard Kubowski on July 8, 1961, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia.
She worked as a certified nursing assistant at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital for 39 years.
Survivors include her husband; two brothers, Alois (Eleanor) Pezewski, Milwaukee, and Ben Pezewski, Stevens Point; and six sisters, Elizabeth Mocadlo, Mary Bellinger, Sophie Kubisiak and Esther Sankey, all of Stevens Point, Roseann (Victor) Byczynski, Junction City, and Ann (Tony) Drefcinski, Plover.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Steve, Anton and Albert; and one sister, Frances Modrzewski.
