Rhody Stanley Konieczki, 76, Jump River, a Stevens Point native and father of two Stevens Point residents, died Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Memorial Nursing Home in Medford.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael Catholic Church in Jump River, with the Rev. John Long officiating. Burial will be in Mount Nebo Cemetery in Jump River with military honors by the Jump River Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the service.

Mr. Konieczki was born June 19, 1935, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Steve and Margaret (Hamm) Konieczki.
He entered the military in 1954.
After his discharge he returned to the Plover area and started his career with Consolidated Papers. He worked there until his retirement in 1997, moving to Jump River at that time.
He was married to Maryann Fabisiak on Nov. 10, 1956. They later divorced.
Survivors include four daughters, Ella Konieczki, Texas, Sharon (Ralph) Laska, Stevens Point, Christine Konieczki, McHenry, Ill., and Kim Sitero, Clear Water Beach, Fla.; one son, Mark, Stevens Point; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-stepgrandchild; and his former wife, Maryann Konieczki, Medford.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Klismet and Mary Larson; three brothers, Bob, Don Kons and Jim; and one grandson.
