Reita M. Witkowski, 87, Plover, died Saturday, March 27, 2012, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover, with the Rev. James Trempe officiating.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the Mass.

Mrs. Witkowski was born July 5, 1924, in Tomah, a daughter of the late Rollin and Una (Reich) Sutton. She earned a bachelor’s degree teaching certificate from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
She was married to Walter Witkowski on July 29, 1971, in Mauston. He died in 2009.
The couple settled in Plover.
She taught elementary school in Kendall, New Lisbon and Wisconsin Rapids. She retired from teaching in 1990.
She volunteered at St. Vincent’s.
Survivors include three brothers, Bob (Barb) Sutton, Tomah, Royal (Kathy) Sutton, Dallas, Pa., and Dale (Sandy) Sutton, Milwaukee; and two sisters, Alice (Richard) Thurston, Tomah, and Helen Sutton, Phoenix, Ariz.
