Marian Josephine Sakowski, 96, Stevens Point, died Friday, March 23, 2012, at the Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Junction City, with the Rev. Andrzej Panek officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the Mass.

Mrs. Sakowski was born March 19, 1916, in Polonia, a daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Karch) Migel. After earning a high school diploma, she left her home and moved to Chicago. She held various jobs there, including contributing to the war effort making parts for airplanes.
She was married to Zygmunt Sakowski on May 11, 1943. He preceded her in death.
They moved to the Junction City area in 1953.
She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Junction City where she served as a member of the Ladies Altar Society for many years.
Survivors include three sons, Robert (Jacqui), Mount Horeb, Bill, New Mexico, and Mike (Renee), Brule; one daughter, Kathy (Jim) Mansavage, Stevens Point; two brothers, Edwin and Edward Migel; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Ben; and three sisters, Susan Gutowski, Agnes Wendlandt and Ann Green.
