Lula M. Waltenberg, 89, Stevens Point, died Friday, March 9, 2012, at Maple Ridge Assisted Living in Plover.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Boston Funeral Home in Stevens Point, with the Rev. David Guerrero officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and again from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the service.

Mrs. Waltenberg was born June 25, 1922, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle (Kickland) Barden. She grew up on the family farm in the town of Linwood and attended the local school.
She was married to Claude Waltenberg in 1941. They later divorced. He preceded her in death.
She worked various jobs.
She was a former member of the Woman’s Moose Club.
Survivors include five sons, Claude Jr. (Virginia), Park Falls, Eugene and Ernest (Sandy), both of Stevens Point, Byron (Molly), Park Falls, and Dawayne (Jan), Amherst; two daughters, Leona (Dave), Stevens Point, and Louann, Plover; 20 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by five sisters, four brothers, two half-sisters, one half-brother and two grandchildren.
