John D. Gagas, 80, town of Sharon, died Friday, March 30, 2012, at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Marcin Mankowski officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Polonia.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. Monday until the service.

Mr. Gagas was born Aug. 23, 1931, in the town of Sharon, a son of the late John and Helen (Zimbauer) Gagas.
He owned and operated a dairy farm in the town of Sharon, where he had farmed his entire life.
Survivors include two brothers, Tony, Stevens Point, and Joe, Polonia; and five sisters, Alice (Stanley) Koback, Agnes Kowalski, Mary Gagas, Ernestine Gagas and Florence Gagas, all of Stevens Point.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Stanley, Benny and infant brother Clarence; and one sister, Leona.
