Gladine “Dean” Roser, 92, Stevens Point, died Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. George Thayilkuzhithottu officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Baraboo.
Visitation will be at Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and again from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.
A memorial will be established in her name for Alzheimer’s research.

Mrs. Roser was born March 27, 1919, in Minneapolis, Minn., a daughter of the late Floyd and Florence (Larson) Adams. She graduated from Baraboo High School and later worked in the Milwaukee area.
She was married to Robert W. Roser on Dec. 4, 1942, in New York City. He died in 2002.
They lived in Madison and Grand Rapids, Mich., before moving to Stevens Point in 1956. She was a homemaker until her children were grown.
She then worked at St. Stephen School as a secretary for 17 years before retirement in 1983.
She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and the Red Hat Club. She volunteered for many years at the St. Michael’s Hospital Gift Shop, and also did volunteer work with the Red Cross Bloodmobile and Meals on Wheels.
Survivors include two sons, Steven (Rita), Phoenix, Ariz., and James (Donna), Stevens Point; two daughters, Barbara (Wayne) Busko, Sacramento, Calif., and Ashley Roberts, San Diego, Calif.; one sister, Jane Mason, Oceanside, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her one sister and two brothers.
