Geraldine B. Golla-Kurkowski, 80, Amherst Junction, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at the Stevens Point Care Center in Whiting.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher, with the Rev. Robert Pedretti officiating.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Friday until the Mass. St. Mary’s Altar Rosary Society will combine with a general rosary at 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
In lieu of flowers a memorial in her name will be established at a later date.

Mrs. Golla-Kurkowski was born Sept. 5, 1931, in Amherst, a daughter of the late Ambrose and Martha (Betro) Sankey.
She was married to Stanley Kurkowski on Nov. 13, 1972, at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher. He died on Sept. 24, 1985.
She was employed at Del Monte Foods for many years and also worked at Pavelski Farms Inc.
She was a member of the St. Mary Mount Carmel Altar Rosary Society.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara (Bob) Simpson and Carol (Ronald G.) Korbal, both of Plover, and Julie (Tony) Viscardi, North Carolina; three sons, Ken (Debbie) Golla, Illinois, Gordy (Linda) Golla, Virginia, and Greg (Karen) Golla Jr., Iola; three sisters, Betty (Lyn) Thompson and Dorothy Groshek, both of Amherst, and Linda (Paul) Krusa, Waupaca; two brothers, Chet Sankey, Amherst Junction, and Greg (Jane) Sankey, Amherst; and 19 grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Michael Sankey.
