Gene J. “Peanuts” Borth, 72, Sheboygan, a Junction City native, died Friday, March 23, 2012, at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Novak-Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home in Sheboygan. Burial will be in Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday and again from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the seervice.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.

Mr. Borth was born June 14, 1939, in Junction City, a son of the late Arleigh and Eva Swanson Borth. He attended local schools in Junction City.
He was married to Sharon Ramm. She preceded him in death.
He was a custodian for the Sheboygan Public School System for 29 years, retiring in June of 2000.
Survivors include his three daughters; Sally Borth, Bev (John) Warrens, Barbara Borth, all of Sheboygan, two brothers; Niles (Kay), Sheboygan, and Louis (Charlene), Sheboygan Falls, three sisters; Dorothy (Al) Collins and Marjorie (Elmer) Schultz, both of Sheboygan, and Ruthann (James) Johnson, Oklahoma; and four grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Arlene Heck; one brother, Charles; and one infant grandson.
