Doris M. Schafer, 71, rural Almond, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Leikness and Stahl Funeral Home in Plainfield. Burial will be in Fish Lake Cemetery in Hancock.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday and again from 10 a.m. Monday until the service.

Mrs. Schafer was born May 2, 1941, in the town of Deerfield in Waushara County, a daughter of the late Joseph and Viola (Spaulding) Brown.
She was married to Harold J. Schafer.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Beverly (Albert) Dachel, Brenda (Joseph) Haferman, Barb (Robert) Schafer and Joann Mundinac; three sons, Glen, Ronald (Denise) and Richard (Tina); eight stepchildren; one brother, Wilbur (Karen) Brown; three sisters, Kathy Jacobson, Anna Schwersenska and Eleanor (Roland) Burns; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
