Delores Mae Nordness, 71, an Almond native, died Friday, March 30, 2012, after a brief battle with cancer.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mandrake Road Church of Christ in Madison, with Pastor Roy Ratcliff presiding.
Visitation will be at the church fro 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and again from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the service.
Donations in her name may be made to the Wisconsin Christian Youth Camp, N3595 Fall Hall Road, Black River Falls, WI 54615.

Mrs. Nordness was born June 12, 1940, in Almond, a daughter of the late Fred and Rose (Everett) Whitman.
She was married to Russ Nordness on May 14, 1960.
She worked at Sears in the shoe department until her retirement in 2008.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Linda Oser and Kathy (Tim) Thompson; one son, Robert; two brothers, Henry (Carol) Whitman and Larry (Esther) Whitman; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
