Chester Casmir “Chet” Literski, 86, Slinger, a Custer native, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at Church & Chapel Funeral Home in Brookfield.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, March 24.

Mr. Literski was born Aug. 24, 1925, in Custer.
He retired from A.O. Smith after 34 years of service.
Survivors include one son, Ken (Wendy); two daughters, Karen (Pete) Knepler and Kim (Rod) Neverman; three sisters, Gertie, Grace (Bill), Annette (Bob) and Eleanor (Pat); two brothers, Rudy (Helen) and Leonard (Mary); six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann; two sisters, Dorothy and Ruth; and one brother, Stanley.
