Charles E. Schmidt, 90, Plover, died Monday, March 19, 2012, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 a.m. Thursday at Pisarski Community Funeral Home in Plover, with Deacon Art Schaller officiating.
Entombment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park in Wausau.

Mr. Schmidt was born April 7, 1921, in Marshfield, a son of the late Emil and Mathilda (Rose) Schmidt.
He was married to Shirley Milloy on Feb. 22, 1944, at St. James Catholic Church in Vesper. She died on Sept. 16, 2009.
He was a truck driver for Moland Trucking and later retired from Glendenning Motorways.
Survivors include one son, Greg (Carrie), Prudenville, Mich.; one daughter, Lucy (David) Ksionsk, Stevens Point; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two daughters, Marilyn and Phyllis; and two grandsons, Corey and Greg Jr.
