Caroline C. Clarkowski, 81, Wausau, a Rosholt native, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Cedar Ridge Elder Services in Schofield, while under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at The Church of St. Anne in Wausau, with the Rev. Steven Brice officiating. Burial will be in the St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Wausau.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the Mass.
A memorial has been established in her name.

Mrs. Clarkowski was born Nov. 26, 1930, in Rosholt, a daughter of the late Joseph and Suzanne (Zywicki) Stankowski.
She was married to Arnold Clarkowski on Aug. 30, 1969, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Wausau. He died on March 17, 2005.
She retired from the former Thorp Finance Corp. and Franklin Savings and Loan.
She was a member of St. Anne’s Fatima Council, St. Michael Rosary Society and the Secular Franciscans.
Survivors include three stepsons, Richard (Janet) Clarkowski, Eau Claire, and Jerry (Cheri) Clarkowski and Dennis (Shawna) Clarkowski, both of Schofield; two sisters, Lorraine Jozwiak, Michigan, and Irene Landowski, Schofield; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Regina Groshek, Esther Brzezinski, Alice Gorski and Sadie Burclaw; and five brothers, Hubert, Felix, Louis, Clarence and Tony Stankowski.
