Alice Tork Brostowitz, 93, 3260 Highway 66, Stevens Point, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Riverview Medical Center in Wisconsin Rapids.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. Chester Osowski officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids.
Visitation will be at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the services.
Mrs. Tork Brostowitz was born Oct. 11, 1918, in Racine, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Zakowski) Kitowski.
She was married to George Tork on Sept. 9, 1938, in Stevens Point. He died on Aug. 26, 1954.
She was married to Richard Brostowitz on Jan. 19, 1966, in Wisconsin Rapids. He died on Nov. 7, 1982.
She owned and operated Tork Trucking in Wisconsin Rapids with her husband George.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.
Survivors include three daughters, Caroline (Robert) Kehrberg, West Covina, Calif., Virginia (Larry) Lucas, Placentia, Calif., and Susan (Ted) Haydock, Wisconsin Rapids; three sons, Jerome (Ann) Tork, Wisconsin Rapids, and David (Cindy) Tork and Kenneth (Vicki) Tork, both of Stevens Point; one sister, Evelyn Shilka, Stevens Point; 16 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Florence Dahlman.
