Rudolph M. “Rudy” Wanserski, 99, 9436 Town Hall Road, Amherst Junction, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia, with the Rev. Greg Michaud officiating.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Friday until the Mass.
Memorials in his name will be established at a later date.

Mr. Wanserski was born Dec. 11, 1912, in Amherst Junction, a son of the late Frank and Mary (Wanserski) Wanserski. He attended Garfield School.
He was married to Alvina Lemanchik on April 23, 1934, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Custer. She died on May 24, 2004.
After their marriage the couple settled in Amherst Junction on the Wanserski family homestead.
He worked at Haines & Johnson feed mill and also farmed.
Survivors include one daughter, Jeanette (Val) Blaskey, Custer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest and Stanley.
