Robert Lee Emrick, 84, Stevens Point, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Funeral services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson, with military rites to follow.
Visitation will be at the church from 2 p.m. Friday until the services.
A memorial service will also be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stevens Point.

Mr. Emrick was born Jan. 19, 1928, in Fort Atkinson, a son of the late Carl August and Eva Alma Mae (Nimmo) Emrick. He graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1946.
He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps as a member of the 2nd Division Marine Band at Camp Lejune, N.C. from June 15, 1946, until he was discharged in May 1948. He was recalled during the Korean Conflict on Dec. 18, 1950, and discharged Dec. 18, 1951.
Mr. Emrick was married to Bonnie Jean Weum on Sept. 20, 1952, at Christ Lutheran Church in Stoughton.
He worked at Jones Dairy Farm in Fort Atkinson for 42 years prior to his retirement.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson and also member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Stevens Point. He was a lifelong member of Fort Atkinson American Legion Post 166, and served as Jefferson County Marine Corps League commandant, a member of the Fort Atkinson Dance Club, a charter member of the Fort Atkinson City Band, a member of the Jefferson Legion Band for more than 50 years, and as a member of the Grenadiers Band in Stevens Point. He also played in various trios over the years, and was a Euchre Club member.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Dale (Bobbi), Plover; one daughter, Luanne (Jeffrey) LaRose, Plover; and six grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Lloyd.
