Rita A. Marx, 78, Stevens Point, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at her home.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be in the St. Faustina Room of the church from 9 a.m. Thursday until the Mass.

Ms. Marx was born July 7, 1933, in Rosholt, a daughter of the late Mary (Karpinski) Wera.
She moved to Milwaukee where she worked for the Milwaukee County Department of Social Services. She moved back to Stevens Point in 1991 after her retirement.
Survivors include three daughters, Katherine Waite and Darlene (Andrew) Bartelt, both of Stevens Point, and Debbie (Brad) Wimer, West Bend; one son, Anthony (Sue), Grafton; two brothers, John Wera, Stevens Point, and Sylvester (Theresa) Wera, Cable; one sister, Theresa (Harry) Penrose, Weston; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Norbert Karpinski and Joe (Bev) Wera.
