Paula M. Anderson, 62, Stevens Point, died unexpectedly Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.
Family and friends will gather to share memories from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at her home in Stevens Point.

Mrs. Anderson was born Sept. 13, 1949, in Stevens Point, a daughter of Louise (Frymark) Schlice and the late Donald Schlice. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1967.
She worked at Wilsons Restaurant and Ice Cream Parlor in Door County as a teenager.
She was married to Bob Anderson. The couple later divorced.
She worked at American Potato in Plover before moving to Vacaville, Calif. She worked in the newsroom of the Vacaville Reporter during her time in California. In 2000 she returned to the Stevens Point area and worked at the Stevens Point Journal. At the age of 50 she performed in Danstage 2000.
Survivors include one daughter, Gretchen Anderson, Stevens Point; her mother, Stevens Point; one sister, Carolee (Eugene) Cote, Bancroft; and one granddaughter.
