Marge Budzinski, 100, Rudolph, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at Arborview Court in Wisconsin Rapids.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Philip Catholic Church in Rudolph, with the Rev. Tim Welles officiating.
Visitation will be at Higgins Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, and at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, until the Mass.
Mrs. Budzinski was born May 18, 1911, in rural Portage County, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Schulist) Tryba.
She was married to Alexander Budzinski on July 5, 1930. He died on Aug. 15, 1988.
They lived briefly in Milwaukee, and then farmed in the Rudolph area until 1972.
She moved to Wisconsin Rapids in 2008.
She was an active member of St. Philip the Apostle parish in Rudolph, the St. Bernadette Club and the P.C.C.W.
Survivors include five daughters, Mary Joosten, Rudolph, Dorothy Handrick, Mount Horeb, Margaret Dorshorst, Plover, Theresa (Roger) Peters, Junction City, and Alice (Michael) Mayor, Green Bay; six sons, Alex (Lea) and Leonard (Sue), both of Wisconsin Rapids, Michael (Janice), John (Donna) and Richard (Joanne), all of Rudolph, and Edward (Diane), Mineral Point; one sister, Valerie Reikowski, Milwaukee; 36 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Chester and Edwin Tryba; five sisters, Martha Golla, Julia Stanzek, Clara Stanzek, Doris Nigbor and Loretta Konkol; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and three sons-in-law, Gene Joosten, Warren Handrick and Darwin Dorshorst.
