Joseph C. Glodoski, 85, Stevens Point, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Joseph Arul V. officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be in the St. Faustina Room of the church from 9 a.m. Monday until the Mass. There will be a parish rosary at 9:45 a.m. Monday.

Mr. Glodoski was born Feb. 6, 1926, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Joseph and Martha (Koziczkowski) Glodoski. He attended local grade schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1944.
He entered the U.S. Army on June 27, 1944, at Fort Sheridan, Ill. He served as a private first class in Rhineland and Central France. He received the World War II Victory Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with two Bronze Battle Stars, two Overseas Service Bars, Army Occupation Medal of Germany and the Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged on June 13, 1946, at Fort Sheridan, Ill.
He was married to Gladys Kujawski on Nov. 8, 1969, at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Stevens Point.
After marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point. He worked for Lullabye Furniture in the shipping department for more than 30 years, and also worked for Sentry Insurance until retirement in 1989.
He was a member of the American Legion Behrens-Scribner Post 6, the Holy Name Society of St. Peter Church and the Moose Lodge of Stevens Point.
Survivors include his wife and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Chester (Lillian), Alban (Lucille), Bernie (Norma) and Carl; and two sisters, Jean (Atz) Kubisiak and Helen (Victor) Jakusz.
