Gary D. Gibson, 32, Madison, formerly of Northern Door, brother-in-law of a Stevens Point man, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, following a battle with cancer.
A memorial celebration will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at the Overture Center for the Arts in Madison.

Mr. Gibson was born Jan. 4, 1980, in Oak Park, Ill., a son of Lisa Gibson. He graduated from Gibraltar High School in Fish Creek.
He was married to Emily Hein on Nov. 5, 2005, at Jacksonport United Methodist Church.
He worked as a software engineer at the Wisconsin Supreme Court where he had been employed for the past four years.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Dec. 18, 2011.
Survivors include his wife; mother, Washington Island; his maternal grandmother, Kaye Gibson, Syracuse, Ind.; his mother-in-law, Katie (Bill) Hebal, Clark Lake; and three brothers-in-law, John (Holly) Hein, Fitchburg, Todd Hebal, Stevens Point, and Jason (Christa) Hebal, Ashville, N.C.
