Esther Rutta, 90, Stevens Point, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, at the Stevens Point Care Center.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be in the St. Faustina Room of the church from 9 a.m. Saturday until the Mass, with a rosary prayed at 10 a.m.

Mrs. Rutta was born Feb. 26, 1921, in the town of Sharon, a daughter of the late Florian and Matilda (Bushman) Osowski. She attended Bruske School in the town of Dewey.
She was married to Stephen Rutta on Nov. 12, 1938, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Torun. He died on Aug. 30, 1972.
She worked at Woolworth’s and Hardware Mutual in Stevens Point and was later a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Darlene (Richard) Okray, Stevens Point; one son, Eugene, Rosholt; one daughter-in-law, Linda Rutta, Stevens Point; two brothers, the Rev. Chester Osowski, Rudolph, and Edward (Susie) Osowski, Wisconsin Rapids; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six great-stepgrandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-stepgrandchild.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Thomas and Fred; one daughter, Donna Rutta; five sisters, Regina Kluck, Frances Kluck, Joanna Osowski, Tillie Ruzicko and Theresa Rojic; and six brothers, Roman, Nick, Leo, Frank, Henry and Stanley Osowski.
