Eljean A. Firkus, 81, 310 Casimir Road, Stevens Point, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at her home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the Mass. St. Casimir Catholic Women’s Society will combine with a general rosary at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
A memorial in her name will be established at a later date.

Mrs. Firkus was born Nov. 2, 1930, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Peter and Frances (Bonowski) Blaskowski.
She was married to James “Kuba” Firkus on Aug. 25, 1947, at St. Casimir Catholic Church. He died on April 3, 2000.
They owned and operated James Firkus Auto Wrecking for more than 50 years.
She was a member of the St. Casimir Catholic Women’s Society.
Survivors include three sons, Eugene, Kenneth (Margaret) and Daniel (Catherine), all of Stevens Point; two brothers, Peter (Donna) Blaskowski, Madison, and Jim (Carrie) Blaskowski, Peoria, Ariz.; and four granddaughters.
