Eleanor Brzezinski, 85, Bevent, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, while under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Hospice House in Wausau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church in Bevent, with the Rev. Augustine Bentil officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. Monday until the Mass. A rosary services will be held at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Brzezinski was born Dec. 15, 1926, in the town of Franzen in Marathon County, a daughter of the late Frank and Adelia (Stroik) Goskowicz.
She was married to Alex Brzezinski on Oct. 4, 1947, in Galloway. He died on Sept. 8, 2001.
She was a member of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church in Bevent and its Rosary Society and choir. She was also a member of the Prayer and Praise Group, as well as of the Pine Tree Quilters.
Survivors include four daughters, Joanne (Henry) Filtz, Custer, Loretta (Stephen) Stoltz, Minnetonka, Minn., Francine “Tina” (Terry) Filtz, Galloway, and Joyce (John) Morien, Ringle; two sons, Andrew (Marlene) and Leon (Karen), both of Wausau; two sisters, Elizabeth Garski, Rosholt, and Esther Ostrowski, Galloway; three brothers, Alvin Goskowicz, Milwaukee, Antone (Rose) Goskowicz, California, and James Goskowicz, Tennessee; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Julian, Norbert and Eugene; and three sisters, Bernadette Wanta, Bernice Szeremet and Wanda Trzebiatowski.
