Edwin E. Wiza, 86, Custer, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, at his home, while under the care of Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia, with the Rev. Greg Michaud officiating.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the Mass. A general rosary will be prayed at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Mr. Wiza was born July 16, 1926, in Polonia, a son of the late Frank and Pearl (Pavelski) Wiza. He attended local schools.
He was married to Dolores Ann Bronk on July 30, 1949, at Sacred Heart Church in Polonia.
He began his career as a machine operator at Bake-Rite until its closure. He then worked at Ore-Ida Foods from 1985 until his retirement in 1996.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Christine (Tom) Clinton, Amherst, Betty (Robert) Kirsch, Stevens Point, and Kathy (Nels) Lea, Caddott; two sons, Randal (Gail), Libbey, Mont., and Michael (Sherry), Stevens Point; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
