Cornelia Flugaur, 84, Port Edwards, a town of Amherst native, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, due to complications of influenza.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at St. Alexander Catholic Church in Port Edwards. Burial will be in Forest Hill Mausoleum in Wisconsin Rapids.

Mrs. Flugaur was born July 13, 1927, in the town of Amherst, a daughter of the late Peter and Katherine (Sharafinski) Sankey.
She was married to Lawrence W. Flugaur on June 26, 1947, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Junction City.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Carol (Clayton) Buttke and Kathleen (Peter) Marcoux, both of Wisconsin Rapids, and Linda (Jeff) Borchardt, St. Michael, Minn.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death three brothers, Ben Sankey, Albin Sankey and Donald Sankey; and eight sisters, Emma Megal, Eleanor Megal, Agnes Ross, Josephine Trebe, Jean Nicolussi, Regina Sankey, Carol Siok and Virginia Perek.
