Ret. Chief Master Sgt. Richard G. “Dick” Warner, 79, Alamogordo, N.M., a Stevens Point native, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at Grace United Methodist Church in Alamogordo, N.M.

Mr. Warner was born Oct. 24, 1932, in Stevens Point, a son of Isabelle Warner and the late Harold Warner.
He served in the U.S. military for 30 years. While in the U.S. Army, he was stationed in Illinois, Kentucky and Germany. While in the U.S. Air Force, he was stationed in Illinois, Missouri, Massachusetts, Germany, Ohio, Thailand and New Mexico.
He also served nine years with civil service in New Mexico.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Lois; two daughters, Linda (Eric) Shirley and Diane (Tommy) Dale; his mother; two brothers, Jack (Pauline) and Bruce (Janice); four sisters, Barbara (Bob) Leper, Karen Groholski, Sandra (Ron) Ledvina, and Peggy (Bob) Clemens; four grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
