Norman N. Cook, 84, Plover, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at the Stevens Point Care Center in Stevens Point.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at United Presbyterian Church in Wisconsin Dells, with Pastor Steve Keller officiating. Burial will be in Mount Repose Cemetery in Friendship.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the services.
Memorials in his name may be given to the United Presbyterian Church in Wisconsin Dells.
Roseberry’s Funeral Home of Friendship assisted the family with arrangements.

Mr. Cook was born Oct. 16, 1927, in the town of Springville in Adams County, a son of the late Ned and Jane (Stowe) Cook. He attended Townline Grade School and Wisconsin Dells High School.
He was married to Vera L. Edwards on Jan. 8, 1949, at White Creek Congregational Church.
He lived on the family farm and was a dairy farmer for most of his life. He also worked at the Big Joe manufacturing plant in Wisconsin Dells for 20 years.
He was a supervisor for the town of Springville, as well as an assessor. He also was a school board member for Castle Rock Grade School.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Norma Jean (Charles) Gray, Stevens Point, Brenda (Brice) Nelson, Plover, and Debra (Philip) Hansen, Sheboygan; two sons, James (Nancie), Reedsburg, and Charles, Shalimar, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Richard Cook; two brothers, Raymond (Hesper) and Robert (Arlene); three sisters, Frances (Lloyd) Day, Edith Vera Cook and Laurice (Charles) Heitman; and one granddaughter.
