John I. Isaacson, 60, town of New Hope, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at North New Hope Lutheran Church in the town of New Hope, with the Rev. Dwight Anderson officiating. Burial will be in church cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, until the service.
A memorial fund has been established for North New Hope Lutheran Church.

Mr. Isaacson was born March 15, 1951, a son of the late Irving and Alma “Frieda” (Hiller) Isaacson. He graduated from Iola-Scandinavia High School in 1969.
He was a welder and a lifelong farmer.
Survivors include two sisters, Lois (Jerry) Barney, Fergus Falls, Minn., and Mary (William) Schroeder, Amherst; one brother, Paul, Amherst Junction; and one foster brother, Mike (Karen) Johnson, Rosholt.
