Fred Kieliszewski, 66, Stevens Point, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, following a battle with multiple myeloma cancer.
Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday at Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point, with Chaplain Dee Erlandson officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral chapel from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the services.
A memorial will be established in his name.

Mr. Kieliszewski was born July 29, 1945, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Roman and Leona (Smith) Kieliszewski. He graduated from Pacelli High School in 1963.
He entered the U.S. Air Force on Aug. 23, 1963, in Milwaukee. He served in Iceland, Omaha, Neb., Oregon, and Texas. After his honorable discharge on Aug. 22, 1967, in Denver, Colo., he returned to the area.
Mr. Kieliszewski was married to Linda Rueckert on Oct. 28, 1967, in Stevens Point.
The couple settled in Stevens Point.
He worked as a linesman for Wisconsin Public Service Corp. for more than 35 years until his retirement in 2005. He was an active member of Trout Unlimited and Aldo Leopold.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Pete, Naples, Fla., and Mike (Stephanie) James, Daniels, W.Va.; one brother, Ron (Mary), Stevens Point; one sister, Rosemarie Bartkowiak, Stevens Point; and two grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Jerome “Sonny.”
