Frances A. Stashek, 87, Junction City, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at Strawberry Lane Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Wisconsin Rapids.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Milladore, with the Rev. Andrzej Panek officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at Martens/Rembs Funeral Home in Junction City from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and at the church from 9 a.m. Saturday until the Mass.
A rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stashek was born Aug. 4, 1924, in Bratrejov, Czechoslovakia, a daughter of the late Frank and Frances (Tomsu) Gaydusek. As a child she came to the U.S. with her parents in 1927, settling in Washington County, Kan., where she received an education.
She was married to Joseph Stashek on Aug. 13, 1957, in Washington, Kan. He died on June 18, 1997.
After their marriage the couple farmed in the town of Carson in Portage County, where she raised chickens and sold eggs.
She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and the Parish Council of Catholic Women.
Survivors include two daughters, Annette Stashek, Junction City, and JoAnn (David) Matheus, Eagle; one brother, Frank (Leona) Gaydusek, Mahaska, Kan.; and one grandson.
She was also preceded in death by a son at birth and a twin sister at birth.
