Elizabeth A. “Liz” Sybrandt, 53, Florence, Mont., a former Stevens Point resident and sister of three Portage County residents, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at St. Patrick’s Hospital in Missoula, Mont.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Spirit of Christ Catholic Mission in Lolo, Mont. Burial will be in Montana State Veteran’s Cemetery in Missoula, Mont.
Visitation will be at the church from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Any donations can be made to a college fund for her son.
Mrs. Sybrandt was born Jan. 3, 1959, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Clarence and Cecelia (Mocadlo) Schulist. She was a 1977 graduate of Pacelli High School and a 1982 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
She was married to Kirk Sybrandt on May 24, 1986, in Lolo, Mont.
She worked as a child support investigator for the state of Montana for 19 years.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Christian, Florence, Mont.; six sisters, Bernadette (Gregory) Igl, Elkhorn, Roseanne (David) Fletcher and Lucy (Jerry) Ferkey, both of Stevens Point, Dorothy Schulist, Janesville, Donna (David) Sevenich, Johnston, Iowa, and Therese Kort, Sun Prairie; and one brother, Michael (Patricia) Schulist, Custer.
