Robert “Bobby” James Jacowski, 19, 3910 Nassau Blvd., Plover, a University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point student, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, as the result of an automobile accident in Outagamie County.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover with the Rev. James Trempe officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Jensen-Jinsky Funeral Home in Plover. A vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Jacowski was born April 14, 1982, in Stevens Point, a son of Lonny and Linda (Schneeberg) Jacowski. He graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High School in 2000.
He was a sophomore at UW-SP majoring in computer information systems and music education.
He worked for McDonalds Restaurant in Plover while in high school. Fort the past two years he worked for Hard Shell Word Factory in Amherst Junction.
He was a member of Phi Eta Sigma Freshman Honor Society and the University Concert Band. He was a member of St. Bronislava Parish.
Survivors include his parents, Plover; one brother, Jon, Plover; one sister, Melissa Jacowski, Stevens Point; his maternal grandparents, Richard and Roseann Schneeberg, Stevens Point; his paternal grandparents, Andrew and Audrey Jacowski, Almond; and his maternal great-grandmother, Anna Schneeberg, Stevens Point.
