Richard W. Hartlich, 58, 3931 Bluebird Drive, Stevens Point, died at home Sunday, Sept. 30, 2001.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Alan Burkhardt officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will befrom 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Thursday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel. A prayer vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Mr. Hartlich was born July 9, 1943, in Chicago, a son of the late Karl and Caroline (Delinski) Hartlich.
He was married to Paulette Conneran on Jan. 15, 1966, at St. Bartholomew Church. She died Dec. 31, 1992.
Mr. Hartlich served in the U.S. Air Force from June 12, 1961, to June 11, 1965. He worked at the Consolidated Papers Wisconsin River Division from 1965 to 1996.
Survivors include one daughter, Rebecca (Eric) Carpenter, Brooklyn; two sons, Robert, Waukesha, and William (Molly), Plover; two brothers, Ernest (Kay), Stevens Point, and Alfred (Roseann), Eau Claire; and four grandchildren.
