Mary M. Hosek, 91, formerly of 1300 Briggs St., Stevens Point, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2001, at the River Pines Center.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Alan Burkhardt will officiate. Burial will be in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Milladore.
A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Hosek was born March 24, 1910, in Aliquippa, Pa., a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Pak) Bundas. She attended local schools.
She was married to Stephen Takach on Sept. 22, 1934, in Aliquippa, Pa. They later moved to Warren, Ohio. He died May 12, 1958.
She was married to William Hosek on June 12, 1963, in Newton Falls, Ohio. They later moved to Junction City and then to Stevens Point. He died Dec. 2, 1986.
Mrs. Hozek worked at a government plant and a nursing home in Newton Falls. She was a volunteer for the Commission on Aging at the Lincoln Center. She participated in the Adult Foster Care Program.
She was a member of the St. Annes Society, Secular Order of St. Francis.
Survivors include two daughters, Dr. Barbara (Sergio) Meldonia, Oconto, and Joanne (Arnold) Werther, Stevens Point; two sisters, Betty (Christopher) Tallman, Arroya Grand, Calif., and Irene (Robert) Woods, Prescott, Ariz.; and one brother, John Bundas, Fontana, Calif.
She was preceded in death by one infant son, one daughter, three brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter.
