Mary J. Zynda, 92, Wausau, a former Rosholt area resident, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2001, at the Mountview Care Center in Wausau.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt, with the Rev. Marcin Mankowski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Higgins Funeral Home in Wisconsin and from 10 a.m. Thursday at the church until the services.
Mrs. Zynda was born March 6, 1909, in Bevent, a daughter of the late Mary and Steve Kuklinski.
She was married to Felix Tryba on Nov. 9, 1926, in Bevent. He died April 26, 1956.
She was married to Harry Zynda on Sept. 30, 1958, in Rosholt. He died Sept. 13, 1971.
She was a homemaker and lived in Wisconsin Rapids for a number of years before later moving to Wausau to be closer to her two sons.
Survivors include two sons, William (Alice) Tryba and James (Mary) Tryba, both of Wausau; one stepson, James Zynda, Pennsylvania; one stepdaughter, Joyce (Bill) Downs, Stevens Point; eight grandchildren. 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Gabriel Tryba and George Tryba; six brothers and five sisters.
